How to read a record
- A lot is registered, never simply “verified”. Each record lists the separate checks behind it: producer identity, license, laboratory, genetic test, and the producer’s own signed statement.
- Every check says who made it, how, and when. Anything that could not be checked says so.
- Recalls, withdrawals and checks that did not hold stay on the record, including through later corrections.
- A record identifies a lot, not the seeds in your hand: a label can be copied.
